Adrian Severin: if we take into account new criteria for Schengen, as the corruption criterion, then we should talk about France to be excluded from Schengen!

Adrian Severin, member of the European Parliament considers that Romania should enter into discussions with all the capitals of the EU to show them that the actions of the interior ministers of France and Germany is illegal, immoral and anti-European, not only anti-Romanian.

If we take into account new criteria for Schengen, as the corruption criterion, then we should talk about France to be excluded from Schengen for cases like Bettancourt or Karachi as well as the pressures France put on Romania, in the context if joining Schengen, so that Romania agrees with some commercial contracts in favour of France.

All these talk about corruption.

So, if the actual government of France wants to teach us about anti-corruption, I think they are not in the moral position to do it, sais Severin. In his opinion, the strategic partnership between Romania and France is dead.

We also have to see if there is any reason for Romania to remain member of Francophonie sais Adrian Severin according to Radio France International.
